What happens when I downgrade?

When your plan is downgraded (e.g., from Pro to Free), PostRecycle automatically adjusts your account to fit within the new limits.

What changes

  • Channels — if you have more channels than the new plan allows, the excess channels are deactivated (starting with the most recently connected). You will receive an email listing which channels were affected.
  • Schedules — if you have more than 1 schedule (Free limit), the extra schedules are deactivated. They are not deleted.
  • Timeslots — if you have more than 2 timeslots (Free limit), the excess timeslots are deactivated.
  • Posts — if you have more than 50 posts (Free limit), the posts beyond 50 are locked. Locked posts remain in your library but PostRecycle will not publish them until you upgrade again or reduce your total post count below the limit.

What does NOT change

  • Your data is never deleted automatically.
  • Categories, schedules, and timeslots are deactivated, not removed.
  • You can re-activate everything by upgrading back to Pro or Agency.

Re-upgrading

If you upgrade again after a downgrade, all deactivated schedules, timeslots, and channels must be manually re-activated (they are not turned back on automatically). Locked posts are unlocked automatically once your post count is within the new plan's limit.
