Go to Posts in the sidebar and click New category.
Required fields
- Name — the label used throughout the app. Keep it short and descriptive.
Optional settings
- Colour — a hex colour shown as a dot next to the category name in lists. Useful for visual organisation.
- Default message — text that is pre-filled in the message field every time you create a new post in this category. Saves time if you always start posts with the same phrase or hashtags.
- Default priority — when enabled, new posts in this category are marked as high priority by default.
- Expire after publish — when enabled, a post is removed from the queue after it has been published once. Useful for time-sensitive content like announcements. When disabled (the default), posts cycle and repeat indefinitely.
Click Save to create the category. You can edit these settings at any time.
