Importing posts from Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn

Pro and Agency plan users can import their existing content directly from Facebook Pages, Instagram Business Accounts, and LinkedIn Pages.

Requirements

• Pro or Agency subscription.
• A connected channel for the platform you want to import from (see Channels).

How to import

1. Go to the category you want to import into.
2. Click Import → Import from [platform].
3. Select the connected channel to import from.
4. PostRecycle will fetch up to 300 recent posts and import them.

What gets imported

• Post text / caption
• Attached photos (downloaded and stored in your account)
• Videos and external video URLs
• Original publish date (used as the starts_on date)

Notes

• Import is subject to the social platform's API limits. If a platform limits how much history is accessible, you may see fewer than 300 posts.
• Duplicate detection is not performed — importing the same channel twice will create duplicate posts.
• This feature requires a valid, active channel connection. If your token has expired, reconnect the channel first.
